Michael A. Goze

Chief Executive Officer

Michael A. Goze (Ho-Chunk) is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Indian Community Development Corporation. 

Mike has a long history of service in the American Indian community and greater Phillips community. He has worked in real estate and in chemical health and dependency. He was a past director of Mission Lodge in Plymouth and a chemical health councilor for Hennepin County. He has worked at the American Indian Center and the Lifeskills Center for Leadership. His background will serve as a solid foundation for meeting AICDC objectives.

Mike's top priorities are to visit the continuous care and chemical health areas and to address home ownership. Mike believes that homeownership is a way to increase stability and economic development in the American Indian community. He has a particular interest in providing safe and affordable homes to special needs American Indians and elders.

Tom McElveen

Chief Operating Officer

Tom McElveen oversees the operations of AICDC and is responsible for real estate development and asset management of AICDC's multifamily portfolio.   He has over 30 years of public and private sector experience in the housing and community development field.   Tom is a Minnesota Licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified Housing and Economic Development Finance Specialist by The National Development Council.

Travis Earth-Werner

Chief Program Officer

Travis Earth-Werner oversees the coordination, integration, and delivery of all programs, contracts and related services, promote collaborative relationships between program areas and ensure that the expectations of funders, partners, constituents, clients, and other stakeholders are consistently met. Travis has been with AICDC since 2010, he has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Dependency and is an enrolled member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

Nation Wright

Chief Financial Officer

Nation Wright (Leech Lake Ojibwe) manages the financial activity of the company to include tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective action plans when necessary, and preparing accurate forecasts so that management can make informed decisions.
